Lemon Tree Homes by Isabel Romano | Real Estate Agency

Experiência fantástica: What a wonderful agency! Laura and Isabel did a great job during the sale of our house, and they were so nice I am sure we will remain friends beyond the sale. Muito obrigado!

Experiência fantástica: It was on the recommendation that we met Isabel from LemonTree; we were immediately won over by her kindness and professionalism. The quality of our exchanges throughout the sales process led to a quick and satisfactory resolution, despite the distance between us. Moreover, Isabel went above and beyond her mandate by helping us clear out the house of items we could not keep. A big thank you.

Experiência fantástica: I can only recommend the Lemontree Home team. I received a very professional and very responsive service. The agent (Isabel) was always very helpful and came back to all my questions and requests, making this complicated process of buying a property abroad a bit easier.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel was an absolute gift throughout my home purchase in Tavira. Although she officially represented the sellers, she went above and beyond to support me every step of the way. While I was back in the States, she personally went to the house to meet with a technician, stayed there for hours while he worked, and handled translation with ease and care. She also generously connected me with trusted local resources, making the entire transition feel manageable and supported. Her kindness, integrity, and steady presence made what could have been an overwhelming process feel calm and cared for, and I will always be thankful for her.

Experiência fantástica: I highly recommend Isabel! She is an outstanding estate agent who worked incredibly hard to sell my house. From start to finish, she was dedicated, professional, and always went the extra mile. What impressed me most was how committed she was to achieving the best possible outcome for both the buyer and me, making sure everyone felt happy with the result. She made the whole process so much easier, and I always felt I was in very capable hands. Thank you, Isabel ♥️

Experiência fantástica: The whole rental process was handled professionally and smoothly. Great communication and excellent support throughout. Highly recommend!

Experiência fantástica: Great service, the ladies are delightful to be around. Fantastic communication all the way through my dealings with the team, special thank you to Alex.

Experiência fantástica: Are you looking to lease or buy a home in Tavira? If so, we highly recommend you contact Isabel Romano at Lemon Tree Homes. Isabel, and her excellent staff, enabled us to find and purchase an apartment in the particular small area in Porta Nova in which we wanted to live. Isabel facilitated apartment walkthroughs, connected us with a great mortgage broker, guided us through the offer and close process, connected us with a wonderful attorney to ensure all the documents were correct (in both Portuguese and English), and provided introductions to some great service providers. Isabel is a warm, patient, knowledgeable person with a delightful sense of humor (often needed in the complex process of buying a property in Portugal). She also speaks and understands English very well (important for us as our Portuguese is still minimal but our requirements were specific). Dean and Patty (retirees from Arizona, USA)

Experiência fantástica: Buying a home in Portugal from abroad is not for the faint of heart, but Chris and the Lemontree team made it possible. The process had plenty of twists and turns, and navigating the Portuguese housing market as a foreigner felt overwhelming at times. Chris was always there with clear guidance, honest advice, and a calm presence exactly when I needed it most. What stood out most was feeling supported across time zones and borders. Closing remotely could have been a nightmare, but the team kept everything moving and kept me sane throughout. They understood the nuances of buying in Portugal in a way that made me trust every recommendation they made. If you’re considering buying property in Portugal, especially from another country, I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and the Lemontree team. I’d go back to them without a second thought

Experiência fantástica: Filipa was a God’s send, super suportive and very helpful. Fully reccomend her services!

Experiência fantástica: Very professional, concise, reliant and a friendly bunch at Lemon Tree !!! Buying or selling a property is always stressful and Portugal is no different to the rest of the world with its own nuances and bureaucracy. Add to that the Tavira market, language barrier, my rather hectic work & travel schedule and just all the good old fashioned paper work - it would have been very difficult manoeuvring all this !! But thanks to Celia & Isabel, who made the whole process seamless. From the time I spotted the apartment to signing the deeds, they led the whole process directly with my lawyer and the broker (with my consent of course) and after picking up the keys - got all utilities (water, gas, electricity, condominium rates..etc) connected - which is a real “concierge” service that most of us would not experience elsewhere. And trust me it’s very time consuming. It’s all taken care off by them. The constant follow ups and making sure every thing is fine was very comforting. It’s a great team and I wish you all at Lemon Tree the very best and every success! Thank you Sanjay

Experiência fantástica: Was an absolute pleasure dealing with Lemon Tree. Both Isabel and Celia were very professional and kept us informed every step of the way. Highly recommend.

Experiência fantástica: I CANNOT recommend "Lemon Tree Homes" enough.. from.my initial meeting.with isabell right through to completion the whole process was.FANTASTIC. I was kept informed.all the way thru my selling.process..10/10..keep up the good work...

Experiência fantástica: This is with no doubt the best buyers agent in Tavira, I would say in Algarve. A small agency where professionals really make sure you get the best house and give a tailored service!!! Recommend it 500%

Experiência fantástica: We went to Tavira from London with the intention of buying a holiday home for our family. We had contacted Celia at Lemon tree homes before we went there. Celia was absolutely wonderful throughout the process. She was easy to communicate with and had arranged viewings for several properties before we arrived. She escorted us and drove us to each and every one of them. Celia was so kind and thoughtful but also thoroughly honest and professional! She didn’t push us towards anything. The decision was left to us. No force or pressure. Anyone looking for a home in the Algarve please do get in touch with Lemon tree homes. Isabel (the owner) is equally lovely and friendly

Experiência fantástica: My husband and I put a lot of trust into Isabel this year, and she exceeded all of our expectations. We first asked her to sell our two Tavira apartments, which she did quite quickly and efficiently. She and her staff took care of everything including using the wonderful tool of “virtual staging,” adding digital furniture and design elements to pictures of our empty new apartment. After selling the two apartments, Isabel assisted us in purchasing a new home also in Tavira. We hired her two years ago to buy our first apartment, and she did a great job for us once again. Isabel made both the buying and selling processes very easy for us, and my husband and I wholeheartedly recommend her for those considering a real estate transaction in Portugal.

Lemon Tree Homes, led by Rita Gusmão, who knew my property and its unique features, managed to sell it in three months under perfect conditions to buyers who immediately understood its value in relation to their plans. This success is due to Rita's consummate professionalism, supported by a team that was perfect in every way, notably by producing a photo album and a video that allow me to cherish wonderful memories today.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel and her team are top notch from start to finish! We recently very happily completed a new home purchase in Tavira using Isabel as our agent. She spent a considerable amount of time engaging with us to understand our priorities and preferences. She presented us with alternatives and gave us honest insight into the market and conditions that could impact our budget. She was an invaluable partner in helping us access various properties we visited together in person and later via video calls when we were out of the country. She always took the time to answer questions or to find answers if necessary. Once we made an offer she followed through to keep us informed of progress and timing. Her office is warm and as welcoming as she is. Once the sale was made it didn’t end there. She did some hand holding until the deed was signed and got us into the apartment a number of times to measure and take photos. She was also there at the deed signing with the keys and a wonderfully professional package of everything we needed to know to make a smooth transition to our new place! She’s savvy, organized and personable—Simply the best!!

Experiência fantástica: Isabel is a breath of fresh air! She is not only knowledgeable about Tavira but also extremely kind, compassionate and generous. While we were looking at properties she also got us in touch with other professionals to help get our kids’ NIF as well as connect us with an agent once we needed to pivot to look at rentals. She’s easy to work with, extremely flexible, always gets back to you and gives you her opinion on what she thinks are things you should consider (that you may not even thought of). If you are nervous about your move and looking for someone who will guide you like a mother hen, Lemon Tree Homes is the place for you.

Experiência fantástica: Lemon Tree Housing is a fantastically kind and extremely professional estate agents who care about people. As a client, I had been left in a dire situation because of a very bad agent verging on illegal practices. I nearly lost my purchase because of the bad agents. However, LTH went all out with marketing and made another sale possible for me in a very stressful time and they steadied me through huge anxieties. I would recommend them to everyone and also to people who are cautious of who they work with they have been like a supportive family to me and also at times like a therapist and I'm sure I've been a very difficult client at times but they always worked to find resolution and assist me the best they could. I'm delighted to have worked with them and remember their kindness forever. Thanks so much, Isabel and team!

Experiência fantástica: Even though Isabel was the seller's agent, she could not have done more to help us, the buyers, through the process. She was the person who provided the updates on what was going on and the one to chase others to provide information or complete actions. Regularly checking in on us and providing whatever help we needed was all part of the service provided. When problems arose, she took the initiative to get them resolved in her calm and persistent way. Even now that we're in our new home, Isabel continues to check in on us and offer help. Shout out to Sofia too, who even came to EDP with us to help sort out a transfer issue. Definitely an Estate Agent we can recommend!

Experiência fantástica: Isabel is fantastic. We are from the US and she did a great job with communication. Always responsive and very knowledgeable. We had a great experience with the purchase of our house in Portugal

Experiência fantástica: We had an amazing experience with both buying our new home and selling our old home with Lemon Tree. The quality of the video and pictures posted for advertisement were very professional. We had a buyer 3 days after it went on the market. Thank you Isabel, Nicola and Sofia for everything!

Experiência fantástica: Isabel has been incredible, after an initial in-depth meeting to ascertain our needs and desires she gave us excellent feedback on the internet properties we had identified as a possible new home. From the remaining choices she was able to narrow it down to a few must see choices to help us refine further. Thanks to her expertise and experience we ruled out quite a few properties as in the wrong area, too noisy, too isolated etc. and chose several to view. The third property we saw was the perfect choice for us, due largely to Isabel and her knowledge of the locality and her profession. Her support has carried us through the entire process and beyond to include getting the utilities organised and plenty of advice and information about our new town, Tavira. Thank-you so much Isabel, you are amazing. Peter and Athina

Experiência fantástica: Isabel at Lemon Tree Homes is the best possible agent who will work with you relentlessly until your home is sold. She guided us through a difficult situation to overcome all obstacles and never gave up. She had to deal with a dishonest management company, Imoglobo, at Colina Verde. Do not ever buy an apartment at Colina Verde. Isabel and her assistant Sonia are honest and always had our best interest at heart. They went above and beyond with their service. They are knowledgeable, pleasant and got the job done. There is no better real estate agency in all of Portugal. We are so happy and extremely satisfied to have had Lemon Tree Homes sell our apartment. So glad we found them.

Experiência fantástica: We can highly recommend Isabel Romano. We are very happy that the sellers of our apartment chose Isabel as their real estate agent. Firstly, the professional marketing and the appealing video drew our attention to our dream apartment. But the best thing was: she made everything very easy for us. Isabel is a very professional, competent real estate agent, but also a very friendly, warm-hearted woman. From the first contact we had great trust in her. Isabel accompanied us confidently throughout the entire purchase process and is still happy to help us at any time if we have any questions. It was also very valuable for us that she has a large network, from lawyers to painters - all very professional and friendly. Thank you, Isabel! Martina & Werner

À segunda visita emcontrámos a nossa casa.

Her proactive approach, combined with her deep understanding of the market, helped us find the perfect property in record time. What truly sets Isabel apart is her unwavering commitment to her clients' satisfaction. She went above and beyond to address our concerns, answer our questions, and negotiate on our behalf, ensuring a smooth and successful transaction. Working with Isabel was an absolute delight, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a dedicated and knowledgeable real estate agent.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel made my move to Portugal pure joy. She is not only highly professional and knowledgeable in the field of real estate, she anticipates your every need and provides you with all the help one needs while making a very complicated decision to move to a foreign country. Isabel knew exactly what I wanted and made it easy to make my choice. I am immensely grateful to Isabel for all her help and support and recommend her highly.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel Romano is a true gem. So fun, knowledgeable, energetic and thoroughly likeable, she will become a true friend if you (as you should) engage her services for your real estate needs.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel was very helpful. She provided us with good insights into each property we viewed, was available to answer any questions we had, and offered to drive us to viewings when we were without a car. Isabel provided us with good advice and put us in contact with an excellent lawyer which enabled us to have a smooth closing without any issues. She negotiated a fair price for us. We would not hesitate to recommend Isabel as an agent and would use her services again if we required them.

Experiência fantástica: I would highly recommend Isabel when buying a property in Tavira or the surrounding areas. From Day 1 Isabel was; accommodating, friendly, realistic and knowledgeable and liaised constantly between us and the property owners to ensure all our needs were catered for. She took the time to understand our requirements and to fit around our trips to Portugal from the UK, whilst also supporting the property owners for whom the move was complex and emotional. Isabel continues to link us in with her network of property related professionals and offer valuable advice. I would not hesitate to buy or sell a property via Isabel @ Lemon Tree Homes in the future. Michael and Tracey

Experiência fantástica: Isabel assisted my wife and I with the purchase of an apartment in Tavira. She was dogged in her determination to get us the best deal possible. And she was so kind in assisting us with our first real estate purchase in Portugal. She made the process very easy for us, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for those thinking of buying or selling property. She continues to check in on us, even weeks after the purchase has closed. Her kindness is greatly appreciated.

Experiência fantástica: We are so thankful that we came across Isabel when making an offer to purchase a property in Tavira. She was super efficient and made sure that everything went smoothly and in good time. She was also able to recommend a very good solicitor who was equally as efficient. In addition to all of the above, Isabel was only too eager to assist us with a variety of things, including contact details for a suitable broadband provider, handyman, solar installer, etc. We moved into our new home a week ago and Isabel continues to provide valuable advise and assistance.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel worked on my business with full diligence from the very first day. She fulfilled every detail to get the goal and she did it very soon. Excellent Obrigado

Experiência fantástica: Isabel and her team made my mother's downsizing a very manageable experience. She found the perfect apartment within a few weeks and had a buyer for the house a few weeks after that. Both the purchase and the sale went very smoothly. Dealing with Lemon Tree Homes was a very positive experience and thank you Isabel for making it so easy.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel is a caring and trustworthy real estate professional. She recently (December 2022) assisted me in my purchase of a lovely flat in the historic area of Tavira. Isabel conducted her work thoroughly and efficiently throughout the entire browsing and negotiation process and provided me with the resources and support for a smooth and pleasant property purchase transition. We had a minor issue with the Seller’s agent that she promptly resolved with a suggestion that ultimately resulted in my offer being accepted by Seller. Even after the closing of the transaction, Isabel continues to be available to help me with settling into my new Tavira neighborhood. I am forever grateful to have connected with her and to now call her my friend.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel Romano is truly the best real estate agent we have ever worked with. We're an American couple retired in Portugal, and we were incredibly fortunate that the Lisbon agent of the apartment we were looking to purchase in Tavira introduced us to Isabel at Lemon Tree Homes as our local agent. Isabel goes above and beyond in every way - before the sale, letting us in multiple times to view and measure and consider the property, guiding us through every step with her perfect English during the sale and all the paperwork, signings, notary and even residency updates, and then after the sale, she and her team continued to assist us with getting insurance, walking us around town to help us sign up for all the utilities, managing the key to allow workers in for renovations when we were out of town, and always responding quickly and warmly. Isabel truly cares for us like a dear friend, not just a business deal, and we cherish her friendship. We heartily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring real estate agent in Portugal.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel is a very experienced, diligent agent who stops at nothing to ensure she does you a great job! She is very approachable, and knows the area extremely well, and will do all she can to sell your home!

Experiência fantástica: Isabel was very helpful and very good at communicating and getting back to us with information on many properties.

Experiência fantástica: Isabel gave our home the time and attention it deserved. We had several other realtors before working with Isabel and she was able to quickly find the right buyer and help us manage the sale from a distance. Isabel is professional, caring, attentive to details and overall a lovely and trustworthy person. We would recommend her to anyone who needs a realtor. So many local realtors put in zero effort so it was wonderful to have someone like Isabel who understands the urgency when a property is for sale.

Experiência fantástica: We bought a house through Isabel Romana in the spring of 2021. Even through all the covid restrictions, she was friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. She not only gave us information about the house but also about the neighborhood, the best cafes, and where to go for a lovely walk along the river among others great pieces of advice. All this before we had even made an offer and then her professionalism and care continued throughout the buying process and beyond. Months later she still continues to check on us to make sure we are happy and to answer any questions we might have. Thanks Isabel!! -Tracy & Geo, Tavira

Experiência fantástica: We met Isabel first time in 2019 and we liked her natural and uncomplicated manner. She took much time for the visits of the properties and she informed us as soon as she had a new villa for us. In fact, we found a house with her help in early 2020, and she has been of great help to us beyond the buying process. We felt we were in very good hands with her at all times and can recommend Isabel to everyone as a trustful, charmed and very kind real estate agent.

Experiência fantástica: I have worked with Isabel with the buying of 2 properties. She is determined to find just the right property to fit your needs. She is professional and very responsive through the whole process. I would highly recommended her if you want to live or invest in Tavira. You won't be soŕry.
