They were incredibly quick to reply to any questions or concerns I had, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. What really set them apart was their excellent after-service support. They went above and beyond by helping me set up bank accounts and utilities, which was a huge relief during a busy moving period. Plus, their recommendations for local workers and services were spot on and very helpful. I highly recommend Chavetejo to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and caring estate agent. Experiência fantástica: I have to say what a magnificent team are at chevetejo Tomar. They have all helped us so very much, ever since the day we met them in June 2023. We flew over from England, popped into chevetejo and was welcomed with smiley faces, willing to help us on our journey for our new home. We explained what we were looking for in detail, all the staff searched for our requirements. Even when we searched for properties online, they researched the property and let us know if it would be to our liking, rather than all of us wasting time travelling and viewing. We have gone from house to house looking for our forever home, and nothing was ever to much trouble. We've sent phone calls, messages always pleasantly greeted by them all. We have never had such a wonderful experience with estate agents. The team are all lovely and do there utmost to assist our needs for what we wanted. We highly recommended chevetejo if your ever looking for a fabulous home. Best thing we ever did was walk into their office in Tomar. Experiência negativa: Organização dentro da empresa deixa muito a desejar. Apenas querem fazer as vendas e encaixar a parte deles. A partir daí lavam as mãos deles dos problemas oriundos das suas vendas. Muito desiludida com a atitude da empresa quando aparece um problema gravíssimo para uma das partes envolvidas e eles simplesmente descartam a sua culpa. Garantem resolver tudo, e acompanhar todo o processo e quando há falhas, afirmam só que já não é problema deles e acabou. Quando pensar em voltar a vender um imóvel, claramente não voltará a ser com esta empresa.

Experiência fantástica: Chavetejo supervised the selling party, we bought because we were going to emigrate. We have worked in the hospitality industry all our lives, so we know better than anyone what guest orientation is. We were not aware that this also occurred in the real estate industry. And it can only be taken to such a top level by Chavetejo. Chevetejo goes much further than just real estate. Extremely helpful, reliable, friendly, accessible. Existem demasiados agentes imobiliários em Portugal que não são profissionais e depois terá problemas mais tarde devido à legalidade de certas questões, como caminhos públicos que atravessam a sua propriedade, ou limites específicos, ou problemas com a estrutura da casa. Muitas pessoas crédulas compram emocionalmente em Portugal de vez em quando e depois têm problemas. Mas achamos Chavetejo profissional. Edgar nos mostrou a casa e foi muito honesto, o que gostamos. As outras 2 senhoras no escritório foram muito simpáticas e educadas. A nossa sugestão para todas as agências é escrever, no anúncio ou na resposta inicial do e-mail, se uma casa precisa de obras (por humidade ou fissuras por exemplo, ambas comuns em Portugal), para que possamos passar a vista e poupar tempo a todos. All very nice and professional. They have all the information at hand and that's very important. There are far too many estate agents in Portugal who are unprofessional and then you will have problems later on because the legality of certain issues, like public paths going through your property, or specific boundaries, or issues with the house structure. Too many gullible people are emotionally buying in Portugal now and then they have problems later on. But we found Chavetejo to be professional. Edgar showed us the house and was very honest, which we liked. The other 2 ladies in the office were very nice and polite. Our suggestion or all agencies is to write, in the listing or in the initial email reply, if a house needs work (for damp or cracks for example, both common in Portugal), so we can skip a viewing and save everybody time.

Experiência negativa: Leider keine gute Wahl. Der Mitarbeiter war nicht nur von mir für eine Vermietung, sondern gleichzeitig auch vom späteren Mieter für den Kauf eines Hauses beauftragt. Der Mieter zog mit mehr als maximal 4 Personen ein, und brachte auch noch den Hund mit. Am Ende der Miete, wie üblich, sollte die Abnahne des Hauses erfolgen. Leider Fehlanzeige. Die Schäden durch den Hund und die Bewohner hatte ich zu tragen, und der Mitarbeiter erklärte mir später, das sei alles im üblichen Rahmen zu renovieren. Die Agentur scheint sich nicht darüber im Klaren zu sein, dass sie die Interessen des Vermieters, von dem sie bezahlt wird, zu vertreten hat, und nicht die des Mieters und gleichzeitigen Auftraggebers für einen Immobilienkauf. Selbst der Manager der Agentur befand das alles in Ordnung. Sehr seltsame Geschäftsauffassung.

A special "thank you" to Emily and Edgar for assisting us in finding our dream home and settling in to our new Portuguese life, it can be quite daunting when you cant speak the language, but Emily acted as translator for us with the local health authorities, Edgar came with us to set up our Electricity and water accounts and accompanied us to obtain our Fiscal number. What other estate agents would do that?, they made our move to Portugal smooth and painless and they continue to assist us nearly a year later when we have a query or problem. Further report - Well two years on, they finally got us a house that suits us, helped with all enquiries during the purchase, and contractors recommended thereafter.
