We were exploring the possibility of purchasing a place in Portugal and first contacted Antonio in October of 2024 and that’s where our Portuguese adventure began. Our apprehensions were quickly put at ease during our first call with Tony and Yuliya. They were friendly and sincerely interested in getting to know us, what we were looking for, and explaining the various regions of Portugal to consider. Their knowledge of Portugal and its real estate market helped us navigate the regions and identify the Minho region as the location we were most interest in. I started following his Infinite Solutions page until one day we began chatting and I mentioned some of my future plans of moving back to Portugal and buying a property. In February of 2023, on a short visit to Portugal, we meet in person in a restaurant outside of Porto. After meeting, Antonio began working with us on finding the perfect property to build our future dream home. Many listings and searches later, in July of 2024 we went on vacation to Portugal and found this property in our preferred location. With the help of Antonio’s assistant… we got in touch with the seller and arranged for a walk through meeting onsite. With only a few more days on vacation left, we needed to move fast and make an offer. In a span of 5 days and through Antonio’s team, he was able to get us a public notary, a lawyer to represent us, sign a promissory contract with the seller and leave a deposit on the purchase price. Back in the USA, in October 2024 we closed on our property. The process went flawless. There’s so much more we would like to write about Antonio and his team but what really stands out is his undivided attention and professionalism throughout this entire process. Tony took us on several day trips showcasing the entire area and its history, gave us an extensive list of hints and tips, and took us along to enjoy several wonderful meals in the area. Experiência fantástica: So, June 2024 Trade Mission Review = 1 word. Exceptional. We're not realtors, just looking for a place to rent or buy. We were very skeptical of real estate 'tours', but Antonio seemed so genuine we gave him a shot. And boy did he deliver. The itinerary is exactly what you see online - the restaurants were exceptional. Lunch and dinner every day at a different local place. Every one better than the next. We weren't even hungry most of the time, but ate because it was just so good. The locations were also exceptional. Places you would not see on a typical tourism excursion, great little towns and villages and parks and beaches, and even homes of Tony's friends. An invaluable insight into the country, and especially the country-side, which is the type of area we are interested in. Antonio and his staff - Anyta and Jorge - were with us the entire time. Any questions, concerns, etc - someone was within earshot 24/7. And it wasn't one of those 'captive tours". If you want to go off on your own, they will give you guidance on whatever you want to do. We bailed one day (jet lag/hangover) and got great advice for walking tour and pizza in an awesome little town. Antonio's love of his country and profession is obvious from day one. I would recommend him to everyone who is looking to visit, rent or buy in Portugal. Especially in the Minho region, which is his backyard. 5 stars - no question.

Even though it was nonstop and I was pretty tired at the end, Antonio showed so us much of the Minho area/northern Portugal that I have a great idea of the real estate and the culture. Vinho Verde, which translates to "green wine" Vinho Verde is not limited to white wines; the region also produces red and rosé versions, but my absolute favourite wines made locally was Alvarinho, Loureiro, Arinto, Trajadura, and Avesso, offering a range of flavors from floral and citrusy to mineral and complex. Alvarinho, in particular, is highly prized for producing Vinho Verde with more body, intensity, and potential for aging. Experiência fantástica: Antonio reached out to me when he saw, on an expat website, that I was looking for that 1 yr lease for my D7 interview. He not only found me an apt, the lease didn't start until 3 months later when my D7 was approved! I can't say he can find a landlord willing to do that every time, but he certainly knew that, that was beneficial for me enough to ask for this. Had I known he offered " full service" in helping with the D7 process, I would have hired him at the get-go to get my NIF, bank account, and an attorney for the lease! He grew up in the States so it was very comfortable working with him. He is professional, knows Portuguese laws and Real Estate market over the entire country! He will respond immediately, working hard for you to make your transition a smooth one. Then, if you are ready to buy, he will walk you through the whole process. Explaining everything, step by step. He is fair, honest and transparent. You will have a true advocate with him.

Experiência fantástica: Moving permanently lot, stock and barrel to another country sure does focus the mind, but having heeded the advice of the people we put our trust in, and resisted any temptation to try and shortcut the system, the whole thing was fairly stress-free and a delightful journey of discovery. We already knew the area we preferred and what kind of community would be likely to suit us best during our social integration. We also, very fortuitously, found a magazine article before we departed, which featured an Estate Agent working in our selected area. Sr. Barbosa looked to be just what we needed and as luck would have it, he most certainly was. That was the first giant step taken on our Portuguese road of discovery, the road we (and he) are still travelling along 16 years later. We've tried to play our part along the way in supporting the local community and arranged for all of global income to be taxed here in Portugal - we even had a spell of teaching English to the local kids. It's important to play a part - no matter how small. Having been expertly guided to the starting gate, the understanding and assimilation of the culture of the Portuguese soon followed and we cannot think of anywhere we would rather be.
